TRUELight Gets "Transparent"

TrueLight helps energy firms manage energy data and analytics so that they can bring clarity to their decision-making. I like to say we bring transparency to the numbers.

Last week was a pretty amazing week. Three big events happened, which justifies a blog post.

Firstly, I enjoyed seeing everyone at the fall Energy Marketers Conference in NYC. The new venue was fantastic and it’s always great to hear what the movers and shakers in our industry are doing.

Congratulations to Larry Leikin and Jack Doueck for another successful event.

Secondly, we have re-launched www.TrueLightEnergy.com with an updated design enabling easier navigation and access to information. Accompanying this fresh new look is our brand tagline “The Power of Transparency,” which I believe captures the real value TrueLight delivers to firms across the Energy Value Chain.

We all know that energy market data can be highly complex and dynamic, which chews up resources just to maintain. And if you do manage to capture all the moving parts, it’s a whole other undertaking to then transform that data into actionable analysis needed to make informed business decisions.

Services like our new Price Verification, which allows REPs to spot check their own pricing model results, is one example of bringing transparency to our industry. Or our Utility Standard Offer Rate Tracking and Forecasting Service that provides both utility rate history and a forecast of future moves for this critical market pricing benchmark.

And finally, the third big event of last week?

The Boston Red Sox eliminated the New York Yankees 3 games to 1 and have moved on to the American League Championship Series against the Houston Astros. As a firm based in Boston, we do keep a special place in our hearts for the Red Sox.

However, with our newly opened office in Houston, tensions are on the rise as subtle jabs during company meetings become commonplace. The playing field has evened out after 2, so it’s still anyone’s series. But my call?

Red Sox in 6.
